I am so impressed by the paper modeling work of Fabrizio Prudenziati that I decided to do a second post about his work! My first post featured his paper models of historic soldiers. For this post I want to highlight his automobile papercraft. Each of the highly detailed models above are at 1:24 scale. From the upper left going clockwise, pictured above are an Alpha Romeo, two American hot rod roadsters, and an Aston Martin. Each of these paper models is available here (a minimal donation is suggested for each download). Be sure sure to check out the papercraft ships, trains and WW2 airplanes while you are at Prudenziati's site!

These two sailing ship papercraft were created by the Atocha Treasure Company. On the left is the Spanish galleon Nuetstra Senora De Atocha which sank in a hurricane off the coast of Florida in 1622. Modern treasure hunters were able to locate the wreckage and salvage the Atocha's treasure in 1985. On the right is a generic model of a buccaneer pirate ship from the same time period as the Atocha. A low res template for the galleon is posted here while a low res template for the pirate ship is posted here. Pre-printed, high resolution templates may be ordered from the ATC for a price.

It always amazes me how the designers of card model ships are able to achieve so much detail in their models. This 1:100 scale paper model of a Polish coastal ferry is one such example. Roman Detyna of digitalnavy.com designed this model to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his website. Detyna chose to create this particular ship because of a fond memory he had of sailing on such a ship as a young boy. The template for the ship may be downloaded here.

From the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) comes a nice assortment of deep sea papercraft. In addition to eight sea creature papercraft there are papercraft of two submarines, a ship and an oceanographic buoy. My favorite is the manta ray. PDF templates for each of these may be found at the JAMSTEC Papercraft website. Just click on the photos once you are there.
