New Ways To Follow Tektonten Papercraft

At the request of a couple of visitors, I have added two more ways to follow Tektonten Papercraft. First, e-mail subscriptions are now offered. Sign up, and an e-mail will be sent to you each time there is a new blog post on Tektonten. Secondly, we are now on Facebook. When you "like" Tektonten Papercraft on Facebook you will receive updates on your Facebook news feed for each new blog post. Two Year Anniversary!

Today marks the second anniversary of Tektonten Papercraft! As I did for last year's anniversary, I am sharing a photo of a shelf in my office and also some stats for the Tektonten blog. In the photo is my "Tron shelf" where I keep most of my Tron papercraft. Some of the stats for the last year are:

• Number of page views in the past 12 months: a little over 1,000,000 (That's exactly twice as many as year one!)
• Number of downloads of my papercraft designs: 80,000 and counting
• Number of papercraft designs released to date: 58

One Year Anniversary!

Today marks the first anniversary of Tektonten Papercraft! Above is a photo of a shelf in my office where I keep some of the papercraft I have built in the past year. Seven of the papercraft models shown were designed by me while the rest were built from templates downloaded from the Internet. A Note About Browsing Tektonten Papercraft

I think most people know this already, but for those of you who don't... In an effort to make Tektonten Papercraft load as quickly as possible I have set seven as the maximum number of posts that display per page. This applies as well to the "List of Post Topics" shown at the left side of the page. So, for example, if you click on a post topic that indicates that it has a total of ten posts you will initially only see the seven most recent posts under that topic. Beginnings

I was first introduced to the hobby of papercraft in the summer of 2008. Inspired by what I saw, I started building free models from the internet and also designing my own models. My purposes for creating this blog are: 1) to share my builds and offer information on where the models can be found and 2) to post for others the free designs I have created. With any luck I should be able to post my first free model no later than January 2009!
