These two paper models of tardis interiors are the creation of Philip Lawrence. Philip runs Action Figure Theatre, a website devoted to creating online Doctor Who comic books constructed from photographs of action figure toys. On the left is the 80's version of the tardis used by the 5th, 6th and 7th doctors. On the right is the tardis as it appears in the 1996 Doctor Who movie which features the 8th doctor (look for it be released on DVD in the US later this year). Both of the papercraft models are scaled to fit 5" action figures. Downloads of the templates can be found here and here.

In 2007, the BBC offered a free download of a papercraft Doctor Who Christmas ornament. The ornament is of one of the angelic looking service robots known as the "Heavenly Host" from the Doctor Who episode entitled Voyage of the Damned. Despite their "holy" appearance, the robots can be deadly, their halos being used as throwing weapons. A download of the template for the ornament is still available here.

The extraterrestrial race of cyborgs known as the Daleks are considered by many to be Doctor Who's greatest enemy. The Dalek's battle cry of "Ex-ter-min-ate!" has been heard consistently on the good Doctor's sci fi television show since 1963. In the 60's and 70's Doctor Who's adventures appeared in comic strip form as well as on television. Pete D who runs a blog about the old Doctor Who comic strips created this papercraft Dalek based on their appearance in the comics. This particular Dalek is a red domed commander. The two part printable template for the Dalek is located here and here.

Both the 2005 and 2006 Christmas specials of the Doctor Who television show feature robot Santas. The robot Santas are villains who arm themselves with musical instruments that double as weapons. Their trombones fire mortar shells, their trumpets fire bullets and their tubas are capable of being used as flamethrowers! This papercraft Cybershade mask was a free download offered by the BBC to promote the Doctor Who television show during the 2008 Christmas season. Cybershades are variants of Doctor Who's long time enemies the Cybermen. The three page PDF template is available here. The only downside to building this mask is the lack of gluing flaps, but they can be easily improvised by most papercrafters with any experience.

In the "Partners in Crime" episode of the newest Doctor Who television series, there appear hundreds of cuddly little alien creatures called "Adipose". The oddest thing about the Adipose is that they are composed entirely of human body fat. This makes sense considering "adipose" is the medical term for fat tissue. The fatty papercraft pictured above is the creation of Sponzar of the Hunkydorky blog. You can grab a template for a papercraft Adipose of your own here.

The template for this K9 robot dog paper model originally appeared in issue #3 of Doctor Who Adventures Magazine. I built the above K9 from a template scan by UK Doctor Who fan, Sean Huxter. In order to create a cleaner looking finished model, Huxter modified the original magazine template by erasing the dashed fold lines. A JPG image of the modified template is available on Huxter's website here.

When comic artist Matt Brooker couldn't find an appropriate backdrop for photographing his collection of miniature Doctor Who Dalek toys, he created this modular Sci Fi corridor system out of cardstock. The possibilities of Brooker's system are endless. The corridors might be used as a background for photographing Sci Fi papercraft or to create a pape
rcraft diorama. The system might also be used for miniature gaming. What appear to be light fixtures on the ceiling of the corridor are actually nothing more than holes that allow outside light to enter. To learn more about Booker's system visit his blog here. PDF templates of the various components of the corridor system may be downloaded here.
